Efficiency and functionality were both key considerations in the design of this kitchen for Mr and Mrs Murray, as well as the subtle Arcus profile of the kitchen cabinetry.
Everyone involved was a complete perfectionist, and they just would not finish something until they were absolutely sure it was right. I couldn’t fault them at all.
The colour scheme, layout and lighting all beautifully combine to create a cool atmosphere in this modern, true handleless design in light grey acrylic. The pristine worktops fit nicely into this colour scheme in Quartz White Mirror Chip, while the kitchen cabinetry provides a subtle touch of extra personality from the green-grey Avola on its Arcus profile. Not only does this Arcus profile help to make the kitchen look more unique from a design perspective, but the bank of tall units also maximises storage in the kitchen area.
Alongside this, the kitchen is also fitted with an array of high-tech appliances from leading supplier Neff. These include a Neff single oven with a slide door, a Neff combination microwave, a Neff gas hob, a Neff dishwasher and a Neff extractor. The ducting for this extractor has been artfully concealed by the light boxing that runs across the top corner of the kitchen ceiling.
In fact, the installation of a new kitchen ceiling – complete with the accompanying spotlights – was just one element of the full service offering that Moss Hall Kitchens provided. The whole kitchen was fully project managed from concept to completion, which included plastering the kitchen, performing various electrical work, and sourcing and installing new flooring and a radiator.
“We loved the design.” says Mrs Murray. “We were thrilled to pieces with our Moss Hall Kitchens – especially our designer Richard, and our fitter David.”
