With a large extension to their conservatory already underway, Mr and Mrs Slater called on Moss Hall Kitchens to update their kitchen alongside it. The result is an modern, efficient handleless design that fits their needs exactly.
Moss Hall Kitchens went above our expectations... They were absolutely fantastic.
We worked closely with Mr and Mrs Slater to achieve the design they wanted for their modern handleless cashmere gloss kitchen, working around the installation of their large conservatory extension. Convenience and efficiency are both central principles in the kitchen: its Quartz Glacier worktops are furnished with a recessed drainer, and twin LeMans corner solutions maximise storage space. This philosophy of efficiency also extends to the appliances, which include a Quooker tap to provide boiling hot water on demand; a particular favourite of Mrs Slater. “We love it.” she says enthusiastically. “It’s so convenient!”
The Quooker tap is just one of a range of appliances in the finished kitchen, many from leading kitchen supplier Neff. These include a Neff low-frost fridge freezer, a Neff combination microwave and warming drawer, a Neff gas-5 burner hob, and a Neff washing machine. Finally, a Faber Inca hidden extractor funnels away smoke, steam and cooking smells. Meanwhile, the kitchen’s Neff single oven slide door features a pyrolytic cleaning mode, making cleaning it particularly quick and easy. Pyrolytic cleaning programmes heat the oven’s internal temperatures to over 400oC, which turns any leftover sticky grease to cinders. All that’s left is to sweep them up!
As part of our service offering for Mr and Mrs Slater, we plastered the kitchen and fitted a new ceiling overhead, complete with brand-new lighting. As well as installing a breakfast bar, we also designed the peninsular to allow for the positioning of a large sofa in the room, making the kitchen a nicely social space. Finally, at Mr and Mrs Slater’s request, we built a small cloakroom just off the kitchen.
